WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA & HOW DO WE USE IT? 

We only use your data for business-to-business purposes for outreach and marketing. We may contact you about a service, event, responding to an enquiry or contacting you about matters requiring your attention. 

What information will WE collect about YOU?

We collect and process the following personal information: name, job title, organisation, company address, telephone number, e-mail address. The majority of the personal information we collect about you comes from publicly available online information or we have been in touch before. We may also collect information on the phone or face-to-face.

When someone visits matterandperspective.com we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Legitimate interest - We process your personal information based on legitimate interest and when these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights. We will connect with businesses that may benefit from our services and therefore have a legitimate interest in contacting these relevant businesses.

Your rights in relation to personal data THAT we process relating to you

You have the following rights over the way we process personal data relating to you. We aim to comply without undue delay, and within one month at the latest. To make a request, please contact us using the above email address. 

Ask for a copy of the data we are processing about you and have inaccuracies updated - You have the right to equest a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. We will use reasonable efforts to the extent required by law to supply, correct or delete personal information held about you on our files (and with any third parties to whom it has been disclosed to).

Object to us processing data about you - You can ask us to restrict, stop processing, or to delete your personal data if:

  • You request us to stop processing the personal data.

  • We no longer need to process that personal data for the reason it was collected.

  • We are processing that personal data because it is in the public interest or it is in order to pursue a legitimate interest of Matter + Perspective, you don’t agree with that processing, and there is no overriding legitimate interest for us to continue processing it.

  • The personal data was unlawfully processed, or you need the personal data to be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Make a complaint to a Supervisory Authority - If you are unhappy with the way we are processing your personal data, please let us know. If you do not agree with the way we have processed your data or responded to your concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. Data Retention

We review the personal data we store every two years. If the data is still correct, we will keep it. If it is out of date at this stage, we will remove it. We typically retain your data for ten years to satisfy our regulatory obligations.

Matter + Perspective is committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure from unauthorised access to or unauthorised alterations, disclosure or destruction of information that we hold. We will take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss misuse or alteration of your personal information.
